Diamonds on the table and Champagne on the menu

Throughout the month of February, visitors to the Blue Mountains are being invited to step back in time to the Roaring Twenties and experience true decadence at Bygone Beautys’ special Traditional High Tea event - Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend. With a tabletop display of sparkling diamonds accompanied by a complementary glass of champagne, guests will experience the full 1920s grandeur, set amongst the backdrop of an eccentric and old world dining room in Leura.

Escape the city one last time these school holidays.

Katoomba Lady Luck festival

Katoomba’s Lady Luck Festival returns this Saturday with rockabilly fun for everyone on the forecourt of the Carrington Hotel. Get your hair rollers out, your dancing shoes on, and head up to the Blue Mountains for a mini-break this weekend.

The Woodford Academy is celebrating its final Open Day and art series for 2015 this Saturday 21st November, with an immersive art experience, both visual and audio, plus coffee, tea, cakes and options for unique and artistic Christmas gifts. See this wonderfully kept historic house being celebrated by the community and artists alike.

Now in it's 2nd year, the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre's Collector's Edition 2# provides a great opportunity for visitors and locals alike to start or add to their own art collection while supporting the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre. This Friday, 24th July, over 80 original artworks by prominent artists including Joan Ross, David Middlebrook, James Blackwell and many more will be for sale through silent auction.

The Wilderness Society has been campaigning creatively to protect Australian Wilderness for over 30 years. The Wild Endurance 100km team challenge is an event to raise funds for that very purpose and this year 2% of the funds raised by Wild Endurance will go directly towards supporting the Science for Wildlife koala conservation program in the Blue Mountains.
