20/1/12 ~ More updates. We have just updated our pages for new owners thinking of listing their property for a holiday let. Don't forget the Roaring Twenties Festival in Leura on Saturday 4th February.
7/1/12 ~ Wow, what a busy day! We are accommodating over 500 people today for a major conference at Katoomba.
30/8/11 ~ Spring is in the air. The buds are sprouting on the deciduous trees in the Blue Mountains with many trees coming to life again Leura. The Leura Gardens Festival will be on again from the 1st to the 9th October - don't miss it!
15/08/11 ~ CAR703 is entered in the Targa High Country in November. We will be raising funds for the Oncology Childrens Foundation again.
01/08/11 ~ Busiest Winter Ever! Blue Mountains Accommodation Centre has had the busiest July ever with thousands of visitors being accommodated via the Blue Mountains Getaways website. We are just beginning to recover from the pace and catch up on our paperwork.
10/07/11 ~ Storms Affect Blackheath. The recent high winds badly affected Blackheath & Medlow Bath with many extremely large trees being blown down and cutting power supplies to the area. However, the magnificent work by our emergency services has seen most areas returned to some degree of normalcy.

01/07/10 ~We are expanding our range ! Blue Mountains Accommodation has never been easier as we have acquired the holiday letting portfolio of Leura Real Estate Pt Ltd. As we add these homes, we will have 100 homes for you to choose from. Formerly Soper Bros, this part of our business was established in 1913 and is now going stronger than ever.

No more frustrating hours surfing the net and finding that your Blue Mountains Accommodtion has already been booked out but the owner has not updated their calendar. Just log on to this site and enter your dates, the number of people in your group and it will bring up everything that is available for your dates.
09/09/09 ~ Twitter now added to the website. Add your name to the system and you can receive bulletins on any special offers and keep up to date with what's happening in Leura.
02/09/2009 ~ Virtual Tours are now introduced to the website. This gives you a great opportunity to see a property as if you were actually in the room.
23/3/2009 ~ The Blue Mountains Accommodation Centre is in new hands. Patricia Follenfant established the business almost 10 years ago, specialising in serving the many tourist who were looking for quality accommodation in the Blue Mountains of NSW. As of March 2009, the new owner is mountains resident, Geoffrey Bott. However, Patricia will continue in the business on a part time basis.
Geoffrey says "Not only do I want to continue the excellent reputation of the Blue Mountains Accommodation Centre that Patricia has built up, but to expand the services offered and to introduce some novel ideas to help promote the Mountains to tourists from within NSW and also overseas. I see that Patricia's ongoing contact with the business as a vital part of the continuity of the service that we offer to our earlier clients and new one that have yet to experience what the Blue Mountains has to offer. The business will be actively engaged in local associations and initiatives where we see a mutual benefit developing."
