Katoomba Accommodation - Blue Mountains Getaways

Katoomba is the grand old dame of Blue Mountains Accommodation.

The town has a wonderful hotel at the top of the town called the Carrington Hotel.

Once allowed to degenerate into a virtual ruin, the hotel has a new lease of life and buckets of money has been spent to get this queen of Katoomba holiday accommodation back to its former glory.  The winter magic festival is centred around the hotel and the main street of Katoomba at the end of June each year.

This is when all of the magicians, fairies, witches & wizards pop out of their Blue Mountains hidey holes and other accommodation that they have and parade around in their tawdry finery in Katoomba Street during the parade.
