People new to the Blue Mountains are a bit unsure of the geography and where their accommodation may be located.

The upper Blue Mountains is where all of the action is and this includes, in sequence from Sydney, Wentworth Falls, Leura, Katoomba, Medlow Bath, Blackheath and Mount Victoria.

After this you descend into the Hartley Valley and Lithgow.

Accommodation is not hard to find in any of the towns if you use the accommodation search at the Blue Mountains Accommodation Centre website called www.bluemountainsgetaways.com  where you’ll find all manner of variants ranging from single bedroom accommodation to 5 bedroom, all in private cottages & homes that are specifically set up for holiday letting in the Blue Mountains.

Some very luxurious accommodation may be found with spectacular views over the Megalong Valley, while others are looking inwards to lush private gardens with BBQ’s and outdoor eating areas.  A good search will turn up something to suit all budgets.
